LIABILITY WAIVER AND RACE AGREEMENT
I attest that I am fully trained and physically and mentally fit to participate in the event, and I have full knowledge of, and assume all risks associated with, my voluntary participation.
I also understand and accept that during the event, the medical assistance available to me is limited to first aid treatment, as per the standard policy with the ambulance providers. Should I avail myself of such first aid treatment, and if the medic on duty determines that further treatment in a hospital is required, I consent to transport to the nearest medical facility at my expense. I am aware and agree that all medical expenses for injuries and/or medical treatment incurred at the event are my sole responsibility as a participant.
I give my permission for the unrestricted use of my name, photo(s), and/or voice in any broadcast, telecast, digital or print material, or any other medium related to this event.
In consideration of being permitted to participate, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, hereby waive and release any claims and damages I may have against the event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, race officials, and all parties involved with this event, arising from any and all liability for injury, death, or damages, and/or any other claims, demands, losses, or damages incurred by me in connection with my participation in the event.
I agree to abide by any race official’s decision regarding any aspect of my participation, for any reason whatsoever. I attest that I have read the race rules, understand them, and agree to abide by them.
